Rowing machines require very little maintenance. Most components are fully enclosed within the covers, hence no maintenance is required.
Ensure all screws are secured tightly, including the pedals and foot straps. Check the batteries in the console regularly to ensure they are working and there is no corrosion.
Wipe the rower down after use to avoid rust. Ensure the rails where the wheels run are clean.
